seminar Mensch Maschine Material (2020-2021)
Which (textile) machines do we come into contact with and what can they do better than our hands? Is our everyday life already shower automated?
The seminar uses concrete examples to show the translation of textile processes from manual to automated by using home devices and machines.

seminar red threats (2022)
In textile contexts, thread often takes a back seat to surfaces and shapes: it is actually an intermediate product, in whose production consequently lies only the call for further processing. We take a closer look at this semi-finished product: What makes threads? What materials are they made of and what is produced from them? How do we produce our own threads and what textile object should and can be created from them and how?
